Privacy statement

ReGNR (“we”) attaches great importance to the protection of personal information and to respect for privacy. This statement explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information in the course of our activities, in particular through our website, in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1), as modernized by Law 25.

Information we collect

We collect only the information necessary for specific purposes. Depending on your relationship with us, this may include:

• your first and last name, your contact details (email, telephone, address) and, where applicable, your organization and position;
• the information you provide to us through a form, by email or by telephone;
• for applicants: the information contained in your résumé and your application;
• for clients and suppliers: the information necessary to manage the business relationship and billing;
• certain technical information when you visit our website (for example, IP address or cookies), where applicable.

Why we collect it

We use personal information to:

• respond to your requests and communicate with you;
• provide our services and manage the business relationship;
• process applications and manage recruitment;
• ensure the proper functioning and security of our website;
• meet our legal and contractual obligations.

How we collect it

Information is collected directly from you, in particular through our forms, by email or by telephone, in the course of our mandates and contracts, as well as through the technologies used on our website (for example, cookies, where applicable).

Consent

Where the law requires it, we obtain your free and informed consent for specific purposes. Some information may be collected or used without consent when the law permits, for example to perform a contract or to meet a legal obligation.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose it only:

• where the law requires or authorizes it;
• with your consent;
• to essential service providers (for example, payroll, insurance, accounting or hosting) bound by confidentiality and security commitments.

In all cases, we take reasonable measures to ensure adequate protection of the information disclosed.

Information processed outside Québec

Some of our suppliers may process information outside Québec. Where this is the case, we first carry out an assessment to ensure that the information receives adequate protection there.

Retention of information

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for the period required by law. It is then securely destroyed or anonymized.

Security of information

We apply physical, technological and administrative security measures that are reasonable and proportionate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, the use of passwords and secure tools, and staff awareness.

Your rights

In accordance with the law, you may:

• request access to your personal information;
• request the correction of inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information;
• request the portability of certain computerized information you have provided to us, where applicable;

• file a complaint regarding the handling of your personal information.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies as well as similar technologies. These include functional cookies, necessary for the proper functioning of the site (for example WordPress, WPML and Wordfence); statistical cookies, which help us understand how the site is used (for example Google Analytics and Elementor); as well as marketing cookies (for example Google AdSense and Meta).

On your first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline the categories of cookies. You can change your preferences at any time or disable cookies in your browser; some site features may then no longer be available. Confidentiality incident

In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we take the measures provided by law, including notifying the individuals concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI), where required.
